Snapchat Tests Sponsored Snaps and Promoted Places

Snapchat introduced two new ad placement tests: Sponsored Snaps and Promoted Places. Sponsored Snaps, tested with Disney, show full-screen video ads. Promoted Places, tested with McDonald’s and Taco Bell, highlight sponsored locations on Snap Map. Both are in closed testing, aiming to expand brand reach across popular platform areas. Future plans may include CRM and AI chatbot integration.
