Nintendo has announced that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, its popular free mobile game, will shut down on November 28. A paid version, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, will launch on December 3 for $10, offering similar gameplay with added features. New additions include “Camper Cards” for trading, a mountain area called Whistle Pass for gatherings, and offline playability—although this disables online trading.
Premium features like Leaf Tickets and Pocket Camp Club will be replaced by “Leaf Tokens,” and players can transfer game progress, keeping levels, Bells, and items (though Leaf Tickets won’t transfer). The introductory price of $10 lasts until January 31, 2025, after which it increases to $20. Preorders are now available on Google Play and the App Store.
Originally released in 2017, Pocket Camp became an immediate hit. Fans look forward to seeing the new Complete version, despite the shift from free to paid gameplay.
