Modash Secures $12M Series A to Revolutionize Influencer Marketing with Focus on Niche Creators

Estonian startup Modash has raised $12 million in Series A funding led by Dutch venture capital firm henQ. The company is challenging traditional influencer marketing by connecting brands with smaller, more engaged content creators from its database of 250 million profiles.

CEO Avery Schrader, a 26-year-old Canadian entrepreneur, emphasizes the company’s unique approach of targeting niche creators rather than major influencers. Modash’s platform, which serves clients like Farfetch, offers end-to-end solutions including creator discovery, campaign analysis, and payment management.

The company plans to expand its 60-person team, focusing on data engineering and North American operations. Modash’s growth strategy includes AI-enabled features and increased focus on e-commerce ahead of its Series B round.
