Some advertisers even had their newly opened advertising accounts blocked immediately. The editor has compiled this guide to being blocked for all advertisers to refer to. I hope everyone will not be blocked again.

When placing ads on Meta, the most troublesome thing is that the assets are suddenly blocked. It takes a long time to appeal but there is no feedback. Even if there is feedback, the appeal still fails. It is really maddening. After collecting and understanding various sharings from various companies, combined with our own experience, we have summarized the following experience, aiming to lead bosses to prevent problems before they happen.
Key points for building a personal account (PersonalAccount)
- Create a personal account through the Meta platform, do not buy an account
- Use real names (names, avatars, birthdays, etc. must be real; do not use foreign names)
- Use real email addresses and complete two-factor authentication
- One person uses one personal account. One person cannot use multiple accounts or multiple people can use one personal account together (one person, one account!)
- Publish content that complies with the Meta platform, update frequently to stay active, and do not be a zombie account
- Please do not add any of the following to your name:
i. Symbols, numbers, abnormal capitalization, repeated characters or punctuation.
ii. Use multiple languages and mixed characters.
iii. Use various titles (for example: expert, priest).
iv. Use words, phrases or nicknames as middle names.
v. Various insulting or suggestive words
- Individuals use personal homepages. Enterprises and organizations should use fan pages (i.e. public homepages)
- When using, do not change VPN frequently
Key points for building advertising accounts (Ad Account)
- Use advertising accounts in a timely manner to avoid idle accounts. (If they are not used for a long time, the system will reclaim the account, which will affect the application for new accounts and the results of BM appeals)
- The ads delivered must comply with Meta’s advertising regulations and minimize the rejection of ads that violate regulations (the number of rejections and consumption will be blocked if they reach a certain proportion)
- If there is an account that has not been used for a long time, please contact the dealer to reclaim the account
- Do not associate personal accounts at will. The associated personal accounts must be healthy and low-risk
Key points for building a business management platform (Business Manager)
- BM needs to do a good job of enterprise authentication and double verification as well as public bank account verification; cashing BM should be separated from BM delivery as much as possible; be sure to add more than two administrators
- BM needs to be associated with a legal entity. BM is associated with a domestic entity, which must be a mainland legal entity registered and legally registered in China.
- Multiple BMs can be applied for under one legal entity. Make sure that there are legal entity assets in BM, such as Meta pages, and that the administrator’s email address suffix matches the company email address.
- Note that only two BM accounts can be created for one personal account.
- Resigned BM administrators (Admin) or employees (Employees) must be removed from BM in a timely manner
- Do not add people to BM at will, especially purchased personal accounts and people in high-risk countries (such as Vietnam or other countries and regions with incomplete network security mechanisms)
- Pay attention to the closure of advertising accounts associated with BM. The number of blocked accounts and the proportion of blocked amounts are too high, which will lead to BM being blocked.
- If BM is blocked, there are only 2 appeal opportunities. If the BM account is blocked for more than 180 days, it will be permanently blocked
Key points for building public homepage/fan page (Fan Page)
- The public homepage must be double-certified, and it is best to apply for a certification badge

- Whether the basic content of the homepage, such as the introduction to us, website links, etc., are complete and true, and whether the content is consistent (for example: whether the page name is consistent with the website name)
- Whether the homepage content regularly publishes high-quality content, it is best to have content that can interact with fans, such as questions and answers, and promotion-related product introductions/game play promotions/service introductions, etc.
- The homepage must have a certain number of fans. Although the number of fans of a newly opened homepage may be low, try to ask friends and relatives to join as fans, and don’t have no fans at all. Homepages without fans are easily suspected of being fake, leading to blocking.
- It is strongly recommended that website links and fans be 1 to 1, and avoid 1 to many (except for multi-language and multi-category websites)
