Google to Crack Down on Low-Quality Play Store Apps in August 2024

According to the latest announcement by Google, the platform plans to remove a large number of low-quality apps from the Play Store since August 2024. These apps are defined as those with limited functionality, single-purpose content, or that fail to meet basic user experience standards. This cleanup aims to enhance the overall quality of the Play Store, ensuring that users can find stable, responsive, and content-rich apps.

Previously, Google successfully blocked 2.28 million apps that violated its policies from being listed on the platform.
