Google Links Business Profiles to Local Service Ads

Google now requires businesses to have a Google Business Profile (GBP) for running Local Service Ads (LSAs) by November 21. This change integrates LSAs and GBPs, making profiles the “source of truth” for ads. Businesses must ensure their GBP is verified and accurate to avoid ad disruptions. Customer reviews will also be managed through GBPs, appearing on both LSAs and profiles by early 2025.
