Apple Launches ‘Win-Back’ Feature for App Store Subscriptions

Apple unveiled a new “win-back” feature for App Store subscriptions on Wednesday, aimed at reconnecting developers with lapsed subscribers.

Craig Federighi, Apple’s Software Engineering VP, said, “This tool helps developers grow while improving user experience.”

The feature allows targeted offers across app pages and in-app, with developers able to share offer links via marketing channels.

Available for configuration now, it will be visible to users this fall, likely with iOS 18’s release.

Analyst Sarah Johnson noted, “This could help developers retain customers as subscription spending tightens.”
